Bree, 15 year old Percheron Mare Bree, 15 year old Percheron Mare

Bree is a 15 year old 17 hand Percheron mare.  She was Amish owned and used as a plow horse.  She was rescued with Benjamin, a matched teammate.  Benjamin has already found his new home.  From first evaluation, it was obvious someone has ridden Bree before.  She stands for mounting and knows a little about a rider using leg aids, but not much. All of Brees gaits are very comfortable.

Bree has proven herself to be a wonderfully quiet trail horse. She is used on almost every trail ride we take and has become a preferred mount. On the trail Bree crosses water, is traffic broke, and offers a canter easily. She is slow and not hot, and will not give more than asked by her rider.

Sweet disposition and easy to be around, Bree comes easily and loves attention and treats!  Lovely manners with trailering, tying, bathing, and handling.  Excellent loaner horse or great first trail horse.  Here she is leading the Trail Clean Up Ride in Patapsco Park in June.

Adoption Fee $1000.
