Traveler, a 12 year old Spotted Draft mare left abandoned and wandering with a severe eye injury in rural Ohio. She had the ruptured and necrotic eye removed, but her journey is far from over.

Young's Real HP Sunrise, yearling Clydesdale filly. Rescued from the Athens Stockyard 3/27, likely a daughter of one of the adult mares but we do not have her registration papers yet. Had a 4 inch nail in her hoof on arrival!!! Making an amazing recovery!

8 month old Haflinger colts, not yet named, rescued from auction March18, 2011. These two cuties are thin and wormy, but appear to be well bred horses. This is a testament to why people need to stop breeding in this economy! There are simply too many horses, and not enough homes! The boys will have time to gain some weight, then will be gelded.

Anna- Transfer from Frog Pond Farm Rescue for Intensive Rehab 9 year old Registered Clydesdale mare. Underweight with some metabolic issues and abnormal blood values. Undergoing extensive tests and in need of corrective farrier work. Sweet mare who is slowly making positive progress! Just starting training in slow, easy steps.

On lay up due to severe back pain - 7 year old 15.3 hand Belgian/Paint Gelding. Returned from his adopters, Kanin was being re-evaluated under saddle when he was found to have severe back pain. He is currently being treated for this with weekly massage sessions and time off from under saddle work until the pain is resolved.
