Jesse, 3 yo Belgian Mule Gelding

Jesse stands 15.1 hands tall and growing. He is green broke to riding, and has progressed to trail riding at the walk, trot, and canter. He is a confident Mule, and is just as happy alone or in a group. Jesse meets new challenges with confidence and curiosity. Crosses water and mud with gentle persuation. His can-do attitude and amazing work ethic make him a quick learner who is only happy when he is having his boundaries expanded. Jesse bores quickly of the repetition of arena work, and has found his passion is exploring the trails in all their wonder!!! He still needs practice trailer loading and standing quietly for bridling, minor details for a young Mule who has excelled in every other area!

Below is a short video of Jesse on his first trail ride away from home! We took Jesse to Patuxent Park, where he calmly explored the fields and woods like an old pro. Jesse acted like he had done this 50 times before!

A huge personality packed in one small package, Jesse is the comedian of the farm. He is a talented player of halter tag, and can remove any pasture mates fly mask in under a minute. Below is a clip of common antics with some of his buddies. Note that he appears to be sort of a sore loser at the end, when Monty gets the better of him!
