Meadow, 19 year old Belgian Mare

Meadow is a tried and true trail horse!  She is not built for speed or arena work, but we're having some fun getting her into walk/trot adult games for this springs show season!  Here Meadow helps rearrange the barrels for the group.

A nice choice for a beginner, she is lazy but can be moved by a firm rider who knows how to tell her to pick up the pace. Meadow has gotten a little overweight and lazy after a long winter of not doing much but enjoying her hay, so her current fitness level is for lighter work and easy trails. She is sound, but very out of shape.

If you are looking for a nice, all around family horse to do easy trail rides, this one is a wonderful find. Meadow can be difficult for most farriers to trim, but ours, Nick DiFranco can trim her with ease.  We prefer an adopter who can continue with his services.

Adoption Fee $300.
