Stalin

Stalin has been mostly gaining weight and loafing around since his return, but he has some busy plans for August and September with shows and judged pleasure trail riding!!!  Here is Stalin competing at a Judged Pleasure Trail Ride on August 6th!  Stalin is an older horse, and is sound for light use trails.  He does not enjoy riding in an indoor arena, and tolerates an outdoor arena a little better, but doesn't "love" it.  He prefers to be out and about!  While he's appropriate for a beginner to ride, he does have pushy ground manners and is not for a beginner handler.

Here Stalin opens a gate to enter the ring for some of the harder tasks of the Judged Pleasure Trail Ride.  Horses and Riders are judged on how well they can perform tasks that one might encounter while out trail riding.  Each rider has to do the task alone, showing they don't need help and that their horse is independent.

Here Stalin completes one of the more challenging tasks:  riding across a tarp and dropping a ball into a bucket.  He did very well in all events.

Adoption fee of $300
